Michael Jackson 1958-2009

I was never a huge fan of Michael Jackson, not until his untimely death on the 25th of June anyway. MJ was obviously a huge star and I always knew about his music, but I never went as far as to actually buy a record of his. Since his death they have been playing his music on MTV 24/7 and there is some realy nice videos and songs there. I also learned a lot about the kind of person he was since his passing. Someone who I admired a lot, Deepak Chopra, wrote a blog post about MJ on intent.com and that was quite an eye opnener for me, as well as some other stuff I’ve read.

I was never sure what to make of these child molesting alligations that was made against him. Of course the media blew it up so much that it seemed believable. But it was hard for me to believe that Deepak Chopra would be freinds with a child molester! And aside from that he let his children go to MJ’s Neverland estate to play. Deepak’s daughter Mallika Chopra wrote a blog post about MJ as well, and she had nothing but love and respect for him. What I have learned about MJ is that he was a loving soul that was trying to use his fame to make a positive difference in this world.

But inevitably there was people who was jealous of his fame and wanted a part of his fortune. I have no doubt that these people was out to hurt MJ and only had ill intentions. Of course the media had a field day with these kind of allegations and only made things worse. This caused MJ to build very thick walls around himself to avoid being victimized any further. To the point that even close freinds had a hard time reaching him. It’s all a bit sad to me. How does it reflect on us as a society when we treat a good soul like MJ so badly?

I mean here was a guy that tried to make the world a better place through his music and life, yet we had to go and make him into a villain. What does that say about us as a society? Shouldn’t we cherish a gift like MJ? Anyway I don’t want to focus on the negative. I want to focus on what MJ brought to this world, which is hope, beauty and love. Even though MJ was not one of my idols while he was alive, he is now in his death.

I hope humanity takes a look at itself and realize that love, hope and beauty is more beneficial for everyone then hate, greed and jealousy.

Thank you Michael Jackson.

    Buddy,
Just like u there may be millions of people who may have started adoring MJ but does it really matter? Now.
I am relieved that in heaven he dont have to answer the eyes of people.
Just imagine the hell he must have gone through when a guy adoring the children was massacred with the allegation of being a paedophile.Being in the hand of a so called a ‘disciplinare’, a child who used to fall ill when his dad used to come home,a child who didnt entered in the world of music bcs he wanted to but bcs he had to(not that his father’s intention were wrong),a child who was forced to practise while he wished to play;a child who turned a rebel but could not blurr out anything, and then, when that child became a man wanted to love each and every child he could, wanted to hold them, love them wanted to give what he didnt recieved, what he might have longed for,did that, was considered a lecherous creep. What a shame.
I still cant imagine what sort of people they might be who blew away a legend apart so as to fullfill there money apettite.Great he is relieved of all the pain.
His music told everything bout him(if only one could listen).Only a good human can become a great artist. It was always there in his music his love for the blacks(they dont really care about us,black or white),love for the earth(heal the world). It was there.
He is no more.Living in a place far more btful then this. But he will continue to live in the hearts of millions of people.
    Love and miss u MJ….

I hope Micheal can take comfort in the fact that more people begin to see how great a human being he was(is) now. It is a shame that they couldn’t realize it earlier. His legacy will last forever. He changed the world as no one has ever done before him and his influence is all around us today. I believe that because of him the future will be brighter. We should all take inspiration from this beautiful soul and carry out his work so his vision for us can be fullfilled.
We will keep you in our hearts Michael Jackson 1958-forever

Come on ruanz, thought you would have done a little more obejective research than taking Mallika Chopra’s word for it.
