Does Time Exist?

To the person who is not spiritual this will look like an insane question. But a few thousand years ago people believed that the earth was flat and that the earth was standing still. Of course we now know that the earth is not flat but spherical, and that the earth is spinning around it’s own axis at hundreds of kilometres per hour. Big changes in the believe systems of men like these are called paradigm shifts. There has been many such paradigm shifts throughout the history of mankind. One such paradigm shift occurred with Einstein’s theory of relativity.
Among other things this theory pointed to the fact that time is not an absolute phenomenon. It means that observers moving at different speeds through space would experience events happening at different speeds. In other words time would speed up or slow down for them. Especially when an observer was travelling at speeds approaching the speed of light, then the experiences of time would be very different. The theory also implies that time is a perception, depending on the observer.
Consider the following analogy: If a man sits next to a pretty girl for half an hour it would seem like half a minute, whereas if he sits on a hot stove, two seconds would feel like two hours. If infinity exists, then time can’t exist. This is because time implies that there is a beginning and an end. Another way to describe time is to call it quantified eternity. Man divided eternity into seconds, minutes, hours, days, etc so that he could experience events happening. But the problem started when man got lost in time, when time became an absolute.
We started aging and death were stalking all of us. We lost touch with our immortality and divine nature. Of course this was all planned though. We had to ‘lose’ our divinity in order to experience it again. All kinds of scientific discoveries are being made these days and even time travel is not out of the question in the future. Some people are already doing time travelling into the future in their minds when they correctly predict the future. Surely it will only be a matter of time before we can do it in the body as well.
